Over 100 people packed into the Maclean Bowling Club on Saturday night for a night of music, laughter and community spirit at the Duelling Pianos fundraiser for the 2025 Enchanted Christmas Fair.
Hosted by the Maclean District Business Chamber in partnership with the Maclean Bowling Club and Crofton Productions, the event brought the Clarence Valley together in support of one of the region’s most loved festive celebrations.
Pianists Bodhi Acton and Shane Perry wowed the crowd with their talent, humour and quick-fire musical duels. Audience members eagerly requested as they sang along, and even hit the dance floor as the two performers went head to head in an unforgettable musical battle.
The event raised over $3000, which will go directly towards staging the fair and covering costs for lighting, entertainment and family-friendly activities.
Organisers have announced they will be running more fundraising events in the lead-up to the fair, including a Murder Mystery Night on Friday 2 August, with more events to be announced.
We are certainly hoping to see more of duo Bodhi Acton and Shane Perry in Maclean, And Thank you to the Maclean Business Chamber, Crofton Productions and Maclean Bowling Club for putting on such a great event.
