Clarence Valley Council’s flagship tourism brand My Clarence Valley has been named a finalist in the 2025 North Coast Regional Tourism Awards, a prestigious programme that celebrates excellence and innovation across the region’s thriving visitor economy.

Announced by the NSW Tourism Industry Council and Destination North Coast, this year’s awards feature 33 finalists across 11 categories spanning boutique accommodation, nature-based experiences, major festivals, and local government-led tourism initiatives.

This recognition reflects Clarence Valley Council’s strategic commitment to showcasing the region’s rich natural beauty, heritage, and community-led tourism experiences through its My Clarence Valley brand. From the rolling surf of Yamba to the historic charm of Grafton, the brand has become a trusted guide for visitors seeking authentic North Coast experiences.

Being named a finalist provides access to valuable feedback and mentoring from tourism experts and positions My Clarence Valley to advance to the NSW Tourism Awards later this year. Finalists at the state level will then be eligible to represent New South Wales at the Australian Tourism Awards in 2026.

Clarence Valley’s inclusion in this year’s line-up reinforces its growing reputation as a tourism destination that combines community spirit, sustainable development, and creative promotion to drive economic and cultural vitality.

The awards also highlight the broader strength and resilience of the North Coast tourism sector following years of weather events and economic disruption, with this year's nominees representing a diverse and dynamic cross-section of the industry.

The Clarence Valley community can take pride in seeing local efforts recognised on a regional stage, with the potential for even greater success to come.
