Body of Woman Found at Ten Mile Beach, Police Appeal for Information

Police have launched an investigation after the body of a woman was discovered at Iluka on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to Ten Mile Beach about 10am on 23 August, following reports of a body in the Shark Bay area. Officers from Coffs Clarence Police District attended the scene where they located the body of a 32-year-old woman.

A crime scene was established as detectives began inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, which at this stage remain unclear.

Police are urging anyone who may have been in the Shark Bay area to come forward. Witnesses or anyone with information is encouraged to contact Coffs Harbour Police Station directly or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can also be provided online at nsw.crimestoppers.com.au
